Sister Vivian Harris

Sis Vivian Harris received Christ at a very young age in Brooklyn New York under the leadership of Bishop James W. Gardner at St Mary’s Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ. Those early teachings had created a foundation that remains active today. “I am grateful for my journey in this Christian walk”. By Grace, Sis Vivian pursued a career in Nursing, served in the United States Air Force, met and married the love of her life, Martin Harris, now 31 years this August, retired from State government and now serves older adults and those with disabilities through the resource center at the Capital Area, Area Agency on Aging and the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Compassion and caring for others has been her life’s work. Sis Vivian is a graduate of the “Sonship School of the First Born, a discipleship training at the Christian House of Prayer, the Cathedral of Central Texas, under the leadership of Bishop/ Apostle Nate and Pastor Valerie Holcomb. Her two very favorite scriptures is found in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, and Hebrews 11:1, “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” To God be the Glory.
