Sister Brandi Moten-Watson

As the third daughter growing up in a single-parent home, Brandi Moten-Watson was always the type of child who loved to dance! In addition, she was able to catch on to new dance routines very quickly. As a young child, she came to Austin, Texas to visit her sister (Pastor Theodora L. Moten) every summer and was introduced to an amazing Youth Pastor and Youth Ministry (called “More Than Conquerors”)! While in this ministry, she began learning what it meant to have real relationship with God and His Word. When she was 11 years old, she gave her life to the Lord Jesus and, at age 14, she asked her mom if she could move to Austin, permanently, so that she could regularly participate in the “More Than Conquerors” Youth Ministry. Soon, she became part of the Hip–Hop Praise & Worship Team of the youth ministry and, as a result, discovered that she had a natural gift, given to her by God. She had the gift of dance! Later on, she co-founded a Children’s Dance Ministry called “The Tribe of Judah,” where she taught several different ages dance routines to various Christian artists. As a young adult, she continued to dance for the Lord and, later, joined “New Vision” dance group. The Lord, ultimately, led her to The House of Bread Ministries, where she, currently, serves as the Director & Founder of the church’s, overall, dance team, called “Sovereign Praise Dance Ministry.”
